Environmentally-friendly approach
For this 12th edition of the conference, the organising committee also wishes to include in its action plan the environmental and social issues related to its implementation. The organising committee is keen to highlight local or even ultra-local culture, heritage, resources and savoir-faire, while focusing on actions to raise awareness of the issue of reducing waste and CO2 emissions produced by the conference. These concerns will be a common thread in the organisation of the event through the choice of service providers and partners of the conference. This includes the organisation of coffee breaks, lunches and the gala dinner (using local and eco-responsible caterers), social activities (setting up zero waste workshops and guided tours of the local heritage) as well as the choice of useful and eco-designed goodies, and the communication strategy through, for example, recommendations on the modes of transport to be favoured.
